The Wagner family settled in Napa in the 1850s where, among the many grapevines, there is a strong history of farming Mirabelle plums. Joe grew up eating them (he and his friends would steal them from a neighbor). He paired the nostalgic flavor with Hibiscus to create an unexpected and refreshing combination.
